geo sun 0 Posted August 3, 2004 capturing the color of Maligne. Also I like the framing effects of the trees. If you like, you can view my version here: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?topic_id=1481&msg_id=008tCk&photo_id=2535710&photo_sel_index=0 Link to comment
erikadams 0 Posted August 3, 2004 Excellent depth. I think your camera height was perfect, the way the edges of the various objects stand out. Very pleasant to look at. Link to comment
stevemarcus 0 Posted August 3, 2004 Wonderful capture of Spirit Island, Adam! You must have caught the first boat of the morning to get there. What time was this shot taken? Link to comment
adam_frankowski 0 Posted August 3, 2004 I had luck to get an additional boat starting before official hours around 8:45. About half an hour later the sun was shining almost directly in the lenses. Link to comment
stevemarcus 0 Posted August 3, 2004 Please e-mail me and let me know how you arranged that special boat trip. (-; Link to comment
maxhaynes 0 Posted August 3, 2004 A great shot indeed, in the way of something useful you might consider changing the white line border, it doesn't work as well when dividing the black border from the darker areas of the image( kind of like it's the edge of the print showing on a black mat). Perhaps a larger line and or a gray line might look better. Link to comment
pdoyle 0 Posted August 3, 2004 This is really something special! The feeling of depth is tremendous. Link to comment

mike_bowzeylo 0 Posted August 5, 2004 Hi Adam, ........................ ...... that was the part where I was speechless. Beautiful, beautiful photo. I was just at Maligne Lake on Aug 1, but never made it to that end of the lake. I must say the only way to make this image any better is to be sitting there in person. Congratulations. jay_patel 0 Posted August 5, 2004 Very good photograph. Superb colors and exceptional clarity. I would have liked to see more foreground and less of the sky, placing the horizon on the upper third. Link to comment
chriss1 2 Posted August 5, 2004 Superb composition. The light would be a bit better about sunset time but still it remains a very good shot. Link to comment

stephanie_templeton 0 Posted April 17, 2006 I was looking through some of your work and just had to say thank you!! I am a sucker for nature, outdoor, landscape Photography. Your work is very insperational to me, especially with me being somewhat new to digital photography. Thank you for the insperation and keep up the great work! Stephanie Link to comment
manuel_odabashian 2 Posted May 3, 2008 I cannot fault the composition. Hiowever, something seems to have been done to it post capture making it look false in the mountains they seem too sharp somehow. There is not enough recession. It's as if you have been trying to capture all the detail there instead of leaving it as it is Manuel odabashian Link to comment
geoffs 0 Posted July 12, 2008 There is something entrancing about this image.I find nothing negative. It is very, very beautiful. Link to comment
