Really blurry closeup of an African Violet

I'm trying to take a closeup of my African Violets. I've tried 200 speed film ... totally worthless. This is with 400 speed film, a tripod and autofocus, I believe. It's better than the 200 but still pathetically out of focus.Next I'm trying 800 speed film. Any other ideas?
