I don't know if it was your intention, but when I saw your picture, my first impression was that of an abstract eye with out of control lashes. Regardless of your intent, a very nice picture.

 

Bill, yes I wanted this to look like an eye. Good observation.

This is one of the more original compositions with a peacock feather (that I've seen anyway) I also saw the eye immediately in the thumbnail. Is it just a wee bit off focus, or maybe it's just the soft texture of the feather? I wonder if it wouldn't look better moved to the right a little so the bit of brown wasn't cut off. And while I'm being irritatingly picky, the crease in the paper is a bit distracting. Quite eyecatching on the whole.
