Macroshot of a small spider

What do you think? The spider is apprx. 1 cm.

Very nice, or not so nice. Depends on how you look at it. I like the compostion and the creepy effect. I would hang it on the wall with a very thin frame to make it more part of the (white) wall and less enclosed.

Well exposed yielding great detail and perfect DOF. I wonder how you hypnotised the spider that it remained posing without running away ?

 

 

actually, i think the spider was sleeping. It just sat there. So i had time to set up the tripod and because it didnt move i could do a long exposure with high apertue to get a proper DOF. Eventually it did flee, but not before i got the picture.

Great shot. I would have stoped down the apature a little more to get the whole spider in focus though.
