jennifercatron 9 Posted July 30, 2004 Seems that lots of people think that fine art can be made by rendering a subject out of focus and in my opinion that is not even close to the idea about fine art. I would try working on the basics of photography first before straying so far. Link to comment
petejr 0 Posted July 30, 2004 This photo taken by itself is not as good as when it's combined with your other similar work. I see this as another exploration rather than as an inferior example. I look forward to seeing where you're headed. Link to comment
john schroeder 0 Posted July 30, 2004 I really like the idea but the printing on the shirt seems to confuse the image. I like how you placed the clothes line and the clothes pins, but I would re-shoot with a plain white shirt. You might try using a sleeveless (wife-beater)undershirt hung out to dry. I do not agree with the comments of Jennifer Catron. Please keep exploring and taking risks. Link to comment
neurocat 0 Posted August 1, 2004 Pete, John, even yours Jennifer - Your personality shines thru. John I was thinking I should work this more. I was thinking a white lacy slip, but maybe I'll try both. Thanks for the suggestions, you are always so encouraging. Link to comment
tholte 16,976 Posted August 12, 2004 A breath of fresh air to say the least. I am glad I "discovered" your work this morning. You are nothing until JC gives you a little lecture. I don't think she heard the Bob Dylan song where he sang "don't criticize what you don't understand". Keep up the good work!! Link to comment
neurocat 0 Posted August 12, 2004 Anyone who quotes Bob Dylan gets marked as interesting in my workspace. Link to comment
