ericwarnke 0 Posted July 30, 2004 As always all feedback is welcome. This was part of a ahul yesterday that wend ok. I'm still attempting to seek out the elusive bright blue tiger striped dragon flys that swarm this location. The only problem is they are too skittish and move way to fast. Here is another type that I was able to capture. Link to comment
ozone42 1 Posted July 30, 2004 The only thing stopping me from a 7/7 is I think it could be sharper. That's not to say I could even pull this off as well as you have, but I wanted you to know you were close to being perfect! Link to comment
ericwarnke 0 Posted July 30, 2004 I would love it to be sharper.. this was one of a few dozen dragonfly shots where most ogt the axe. The 55mm kit lens is ok, but I think a 100+ IS would have really helped me nail the shot. I did manage to pull quite a bit of deatil out of the RAW image with the unsharp mask without causing any degridation to the image. Thanks everyone for the support. I'm not doing too bad for less than a month with a SLR. Link to comment
