havanai 0 Posted August 10, 2004 Blaine, I love the look of this picture at O'Hare. The other one's pretty good too. In these days of high security, I am amazed that you had time to capture this in such low light before a security guard told you that you couldn't take pictures there. Did you use a tripod or monopod...or because you were shooting with a digital camera were you able to capture this low-light scene hand-holding your camera? Link to comment
ibbilbo 0 Posted August 11, 2004 Kurt, Thanks for your comment. Actually, I just grabbed the D70 out of my backpack (LowePro Mini Trekker) and handheld a couple shots. There really weren't many people around at that hour, including security. I really like the kind of art deco look of this section of the terminal. It almost made up for being up at this hour. :) Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted October 12, 2004 A very good effect. Who knows if the architect who designed the lights thought of the glow you would get at 5am with some light outside. I particularly like the effect on the roof where it curves, it draws me in the picture and rivets my eyes there. Link to comment
