I would be interested in knowing if you find this to be an attractive

photograph. Suggestions for improvement from posting Photogs are

always welcome.

Very excellent capture Walter. It is true that the medium format provides incomparable results (in the right hands that is). There is a dynamic in this that sets it above the crowd. Superb color saturation and fidelity.

Thank you Hassan, Derek, and Gaspar! This is one of my favorite photogrpahs. I am glad that you liked it too. Regards.

Very vivid colors and contrasts - yup, the medium format worked well here! Love it. Looks like there are some compression artifacts around the peak? I've had trouble with that lately after adjusting shadows/highlights and sharpening - I understand photo.net's software compresses further, so artifacts that may not appear on your own monitor may pop up after posting.

Thank you Reiner, Steve, Christopher, and David. I see the artifacts in the default view but not in the LARGER one. I think I should have uploaded a smaller size so that it would not have been recompressed. I understand Photonet is using 75% on the jpegs. Regards.

Just beautiful. The angle gives it a sense of power. Imposing rock! The colors are very nice and the deep blue sky contrasts well. Very nice shot. My hat is off to you!

I like this image for several reasons. First, the colours are almost intoxicating, and those small clouds fill the sky exactly where some white is needed. Secondly, it's a beautiful mountain, and I'm quite sensitive to this. Third, the angle of view is well married with the title to give a feeling of how imponent a rock face might get.

A complain, small, would be about the subtle oversharpening of some of the black lines which are coming down at the right of the peak...

Thank you very much Salvatore for your visit and comment. I have to admit, this is one of my favorite photographs; it does not get too many visits any more. So it is always nice when someone stops by for a look. Regards.

Mmm, so you want more visits? It is surely worth it... see, I came again! Looking at it again (isn't this follow-up function great?) i think you have in the full lower right quarter enough interesting texture to crop it and show it again on photo.net as an abstract (with a wise link to the full version)...

Ahh! You are referring to the area where the "smiling face" is located. I may try that. Regards.
