martin_richter1 0 Posted July 27, 2004 The fore ground table and backround are distracting much of which can be cropped. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 28, 2004 If you pardon me, I'll be blunt. To me this photo is neither art nor glamour. It is merely a picture of a topless girl slouching in a chair. Aesthetically it's bad on a few points. The table looks flesh coloured and uncomfortably blends into her body. The background adds nothing to the aesthetic quality of the image, it's merely distracting. Her pose is strange, I'm not sure why she is sitting like that. It looks like a snapshot to me. The only thing to distinguish it from a shot like "Auntie Martha at home last Easter" is the fact that she is topless. And that's not enough. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 28, 2004 By the way, your black and white work is excellent, especially the hotel shot - beautiful stuff. Link to comment
joachim voth 0 Posted January 8, 2005 i don't get the idea at all, and the chap in green socks on the stairs is a big minus. the woman looks worn-out -- maybe she worked to hard at the great b/w pics? Link to comment
