Spartan Pines revisited

I have photographed these pine trees before, they were covered in thick rime frost, the cold stillness of that day was utterly memorable. See www.Timecatcher.com. This time the hills and trees were coated in new spring growth painting them fresh and green. Very attractive and the picture still feels wonderfully balanced.

This is an early summer version of an earlier upload. I find the

balance of the picture very satisfying, however I much prefer the

winter version which you can see at high resolution on a fabulous new

website featuring other superb photographers at

www.Timecatcher.com

Ian ... I find this image quite pleasing and pastoral. However, it also appears over sharpened as well ... unlike most of your postings.
