Akaka Falls

This is a resubmission; I removed the previous post because of some

compositional problems that I overlooked. I would be interested in

knowing if you think the waterfall is too centered in the frame. I

tried various croppings, but this seemed to provide the best balance.

I'd be interested to see what you have to say about the difference - pros and cons - of each of the 2 versions of the same subject. I'll be asking exactly the same question to Vincent... may be interesting... Then I'll join in if you wish, and tell you what my thoughts were as I saw both pictures again next to each other, today... Regards.

This one is great, too. I think that the visual impact is very different for the two, although both have their respective strengths.

A superb shot that I wish I had seen and then be able to take one like this. The only area for improvement IMHO is that the dark areas (rocks, etc) appear on my monitor to have a blue/magenta bias and this is easily corrected in PS.
