OK as is, but some tweaks and a different crop would help. Like so...

Beautiful little girl. However, the flash overpowers the picture. More fill lighting would have helped this look more professional.

now that it's been poited out, i can see how fill lighting would have balance the photo a little better. the background though, would not be suitable as a "professional" backdrop. i do not know if the image could be improved in photoshop, I'm too new at the digital stuff. it looks pretty good when shown through the projector though. thanks for your comments

the cropping does help. So far, I've tried not to touch up my originals. This is one of hte photo I saw fit to print. Most end up in a carousel, or a green or yellow box. thanks for the comments. I'm enjoying the education
