an grianghrafadóir 0 Posted August 9, 2004 This is a pretty good effort, but it can be improved on I think. Your style of shooting is good and just like I might see in a magazine, except there is a lot to distract from the actual plate of food, the red table being the most obvious. I would choose a lighter, more neutral table top and a lighter coloured drink and shoot towards a brighter backround, so that the food is the darkest, most detailed part of the image and your eye is immediately drawn there. So overall you would be trying to achieve a pastel or neutral look, with the food retaining all its colour.
