I love the "attitude" of the birds that you caught. I like it a lot but wonder if you could have taken a slightly lower angle? May not have caught the background you wanted, however.

This is great. I really love the different positions of the birds. The only thing that might improve it is if it were taken from a lower angle.

I love the tones of most of your images in the Digital Rebel section. What kind of post processing do you do after you uplodad your images to your computer? Your images seems so clean & crisp.

Arthur -- It's a process that I'm still figuring out! On the Iceland shots, I used PhaseOne CaptureOne to do the raw conversion. This program was really useful for getting the color temperature right and does a really high quality conversion to 16-bit Tiffs. I also crop and play with levels and curves in C1. Then in Photoshop I adjusted saturation and brightness, and added an unsharp mask. Any suggestions on how to improve the flow?

Yes, I heard of PhaseOne in one of the issues in Outdoor Photography. Do you find PhaseOne C1 better than the Canon software? BTW, did Canon provide/sell software that can process RAW files?
