Portrait of the Stranger

Brilliant photo, I think the fish eye perspective works very well. The dramatic sky adds nicely to the athmosphere, although it maybe looks a little unnatural.

The sad expression (looks like she has a hard life), of the lady advertising airline travel and holidays, and the wonderfully energetic sky, all combine into the theme of this photo. To me the sky is beckoning us away from a drab existence in the city.

An extremely unusual shot; wide angle lens?, black and white, and also with the clouds coming in the distance.. Tremendous impact and great imagination to think of this - well done!

Mr Bonder! - a very stong image. I considered removing the top of the left hand side building ( as an exercise if nothing else) - I agree with your final crop - leaving it in - balances the slightly off centre lady who is being framed by the cloud bank ( and filling in what would otherwise be a blank bit of sky... A sweet candid - even teh automobile is being hidden by her sign so as to become irrelevant. Impressive - music to my eyes! 5/6 from me. George
