Hi Michael

I think I like this photo more than I can put a finger on to articulate. Beyond the composition which is superb... I like your application on Photoshop. I don't do digital but looking into it and this photo makes me want to investigate it further as although it is manipulated it is an intelligent and creative one with the right subtleties. Well done to you and your model

A very well proportioned model - now leaving that aside and moving our attention to what YOU control ie the image as displayed....

Very amusing! - this is her cast shadow? - are you sure?

Leaving that humour aside - I am sure you don't see her diminished left arm as a strong point. The IDEA of light and dark model/ shadow as indicated in this very 'draft' image, is interesting, the proper execution would be even more interesting.

In case you are interested... relative to a typical 'Fine Art' nude (ha how I just love that expression!) in a gallery or book ..dare I say it even in some magazines? -- this one would rate a 2/4. By PN standards - congratulations enjoy the adulation. George

Less than one and half year ago I deacided to learen P.S technic until that time I concidered the P.S as Unfair play to Photography. To day I think that my outcome of my own photography impruved from any sennes that I'm cheking it. From composition, color, light, ideas that I the chance to achived etc. all kind of photography aspects, were impruved. The Digital technic entered to every aspects in our life and gave us the tools to do things faster and in a better way comparing to the same thing that we did in the past. that is a heavy sbject matter which I would like to discase it but I think that this Galery is not the right place to do so.

One more aspect to mention is that we do not MANIPULETING (negative approch according to Collins dictionery) our Photogrphs, we are CREATING with additional tool (the photoshop knowhow) which the artise useing according to his own interpitation.

Thank You Michael Cohen

This image has somethings going for it, but it is far from perfect. The shadow play on the wall is good but poor on her left arm, it gives the appearance of a very thin arm which it is not. Personally I would have had the model turn her hips just slightly to enhance the shadow image while retaining the roundness of the body. Likewise I would have her turn her face to give the shadow a profile, while hiding her face. Maybe the photographer can try some suggestions and vary the attributes and see what they can create.
