Any comments or suggestions?

nice pic! the color is lovely when its all blurred. but for the actual subject i think maybe a touch more wider on the area of focus (i forget the name of it!) just so u see a hint of the mechanics of the object.

Neat abstract use of color and line. Wish the colors were stronger but thats just my opinion.

The depth of field was kinda intentional -- I had just gotten an f/1.4 lens and I wanted to see what it could do. I do agree that more of the instrument in focus, or maybe less unfocused, might make it more intersting.

 

Stronger colors? Maybe something more gold and red as opposed to gold and orange?
