vangelis_moutafis 0 Posted July 26, 2004 a skilled eye like yours can always find an original view to shoot. Fantastic picture. 7/7 Link to comment
nikos 0 Posted July 26, 2004 It's an amazingly original photo. I mean it. This sort of subject has been photographed again and again by thousands of photographers, and it always results in beautiful but very common photos. You have a very good eye and have managed to spot a detail and a composition that is novel and refreshingly different. This is very hard to do with a subject that has been snapped at so much as Santorini streets, churches, windows and views. Well done. The result photo is surreal, and aesthetically pleasant. There is perceived distortion of space, a weird sense of depth, location and function on all elements inside the frame. Great work. Link to comment
melliktamas 0 Posted July 26, 2004 Take a look at this one http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2558579 please, because I like it a little bit better than what you see now, and I don't understand the bad ratings, am I wrong, or... Link to comment
hyde 0 Posted July 26, 2004 Marvellous shot! The "bad ratings" (very, very few) must be because there are some very strange people out there. Amazing work! Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted July 27, 2004 I like them both, but this would be my choice of the two. It frankly looks more like a painting than a photo. Excellent work. Link to comment
Talan elszorakozom kicsit sajat gepemen a vagassal, hatha sikerul a magam szamara megnyugtatobb eredmenyre jutni. Ha megvan, es jobbnak latom, felteszem. Gratulalok a sikeredehez, nem kis dolog! :-) Link to comment
Link to comment

aberik 0 Posted January 16, 2008 An awesome abstract! Colors and the graphical effect are extravagant. I'd say "go Mellik, go!" : ) Link to comment
lauren_smith 0 Posted January 16, 2008 I love it. Am I the only one to see a nude figure in this picture? Link to comment
davidlong 0 Posted January 16, 2008 I came across this on the front page. It definitely deserves it! Very delicate color and a hypnotic abstract composition makes for an arresting image. The flower pot anchors it all perfectly. "Beautifully done" is an understatement! Link to comment
