here you see only about 300 thousand pixels; the original scan resolution is about 10 million pixels.

This was photo was taken under extremely difficult light conditionshalf an hour before sunset in summer.

I have no idea how I could have avoided the reflection in theupper-right part, since I used the standard Leica shade on the 35mm/2Summicron-M ASPH.

Except for slight luminosity and contrast, the photo is completely unmanipulated.

thanks for your advice!

Since the sun is not in the image, shading with one hand should have been possible. Seems that the Leica coating and/or design of the lens is not optimal considering flare. Or have you used a filter? Perhaps you should swich to Pentax (;-)). Nice attempt though to give this ghost(image) a meaning.

I didn't use any filter.

Using the hand as additional shade is a very difficult task with a rangefinder camera! almost impossible (except maybe using a tripod and watching the shade from the front)

What you see in this photo is only 3% of my scanner's resolution. You are right and I agree that it is disfiguring to put a copyright note in a photo where 97% of the pixels have already been eliminated - but I did that for all of my photos - because, who knows where it goes? it has no other strings attached.

If you think I'd get better ratings if I omitted the text, I'd consider to remove the text as well as the black frame which the scanner produces in batch scans.
