Guest Guest Posted July 24, 2004 I love the long exposure effect. It is other-worldly. it seems to have effected the cloud movement as well, giving the sky a velvet like texture. My only issue is the sharpness of the driftwood-log thing. Link to comment

avid 0 Posted July 25, 2004 Heather, you mentioned the sharpness of the driftwood. Is it too sharp? Or not sharp enough? On film it is very sharp as is usually the case with Zeiss lenses, but the jpeg compression and resizing has softened everything a bit. Or is it still too sharp? Thanks everyone for the comments/feedback. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted July 25, 2004 Except for the mild grain in the sky (perhaps due to the jpeg only?), there is absolutely nothing I'd change. What an amazing composition, and what a great sense of movement ! This is really the kind of seascapes that do "float my boat", and would last a bit longer in my mind than the usual postcard. nikos 0 Posted July 26, 2004 Great. I wouldn't change a thing. The composition, timing, choice of colour and grain.. everything fits very well in this photo and it all makes sense. Link to comment
