Classic still-life in the photoimpressionistic style

Classic still-life motif done in the photo impressionistic style.

Sorry, but I find it very hard to look at when it is so out of focus. Impressionistic paintings are not blurred, and are about light. I see very little influence of light in your photo.

Thanks for your comments. I have to disagree with your assessment about impressionism. I don't think it was about light at all. It was a reaction to Realism, stripping away the details of a subject, leaving its "impression".

 

In that light (pardon the pun), how do you think the image works?

doesn't look artistic to me. just looks out of focus.

I feel you like this image and you demand others to like it too. I am afraid I have to agree with Janice.

 

I would also point out that if you have to explain a photograph then the photograph has failed what it was meant to do!

The combo of what appears to be soft focus & motion blur is a little too harsh on my eyes
