The following information is given to assist photographers who wish to try to recreate this image.

Purpose: Portfolio and pleasure. I also wanted to see what results I could obtain with an early Olympus digital camera purchased on Ebay for £40.

Lighting: Bright but overcast daylight from a window above Anns feet.

Filters/Equipment: None.

Comments: I am quite impressed by the quality obtainable with this single focal length camera in SHQ mode (jpeg). The single focal length brings about a discipline usually ignored with zoom cameras.

Changes: This photo and the others in the series were shot on the run i.e. Ann did not pose or assist in any way. With this in mind I am happy with the outcome.

I find myself wishing the color palette here were warmer. I really like the sharp black and white contrast of the bubbles!

Don't inhale, don't tuck in the tummy..... (previously there was a critique saying the opposite, but it's been deleted)

Great perspective, don't tuck in the tummy. I get tired of seeing the body in only its most perfect form.

Thank you. It is my quest to record people exactly as they are because life is not full of perfect bodies. What is a perfect body anyway? Your comments are encouraging.

I think I have seen too much ordinary nudes here, young female bodies with sexy posing and very often they are just showing a model naked.

 

But this image is something different, it's a real thing, showing a woman bathing, from a good angle and I especially like that you have just captured the moment, not telling her how to sit there or how to pose.

I think I'll give 7&7 for it.
