irakly 0 Posted July 23, 2004 My pictures do not sell. I mean, landscapes, birds and the like do, but creative stuff does not. Perhaps, I am not marketing it to the right audience... Link to comment
Wayne Melia 6,084 Posted July 23, 2004 No idea about the market, but I do admire the picture. Great sensuous aesthetic from the tones/lighting, and also like the geometry. Link to comment
vorlandphotography 0 Posted July 23, 2004 I think there is a market ... this one may be a tad too explicit, but I know of folks who want a more intimate kind of double portrait with their partner, for display in their private space or to take along when they are parted. Perhaps not for the annual holiday greeting card! Link to comment
cconway 0 Posted July 24, 2004 I like it, but if I would have either cut the other person or brought them into the shot so that we could see part of their back. Either that or make the crop tighter and show the other persons legs intertwined with the other person's arms tight around the legs to make the image feel "clingier". Don't know if that would be contrary to your intent, but it would make the image better for me. Link to comment
james_falconer 0 Posted July 24, 2004 I like the nontraditional pose. Super pretty model always helps! Link to comment
bacsa 0 Posted July 24, 2004 The berry i could miss (looks a weird berry anyway). Otherwise a great photo;p colours, perspective, the tilting, model, all. Now to your question, - well, dunno about those flowers landscapes and birds that "sell", however, what I think is that there is two kind of "market" for nudes. One is for the more explicit, (read: porn), which certainly does sell, but this is not "good enough" for that. The other one is not a real market; lots of people do like this kind of photography but not too many will buy it - our society stops us hanging it on the wall or using it at work as a computer desktop image etc. Of course, there are exceptions, but not too many. mm1664877714 0 Posted July 25, 2004 Nice capture, but the hands towards the botom in my openion are hurting your great capture. Good lighting and your model is relaxed and you have captured that. Well done. Link to comment
