petejr 0 Posted July 22, 2004 I like this image Frederic. The only suggestion I'd make is to lower the highlights somewhat so the distant wall is not so bright and contains more texture. Link to comment
fredericpascual 0 Posted July 22, 2004 I agree with you Pete..But it s already the maximum I could do up to now. Maybe with the new version of PS. I can try again, It s a very hard light condition...Contre Jour, and I tried to find the good balance with the foreground. But, I will try again. Thanks for your comment Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 22, 2004 I saw a show of his recently, all kids and their dreams but am having a hard time finding it published as a series...interesting stuff and your shot reminded me of him. Here's a bit of info on him. Link to comment
eric_t. 0 Posted July 22, 2004 Frederic, A very powerful, emotional photograph. As depressing as it might seem initially, the older of the two girls seems to have a glint of hope about her...the younger one complete uncertainty. I personally like the brightness at the end of the alley. To me it seems like a ray of hope in an otherwise bleak place. Very, very well done. Good luck with the series. I look forward to more of your posts. Link to comment
panyitu 0 Posted July 22, 2004 Caramba, que pedazo foto. que bié® le van los pantalones!. Menudo encuadre. Lo de la textura podria ser pero así ´iene un aire de "final del tunel" muy lirico. Link to comment

jorge 0 Posted July 23, 2004 Fred, This is a top notch photo in the most refined heritage of Imogen Cunningham, HCB and Ernst Haas. It shouts "Leica" everywhere. If there's one frame that justifies all your troubles and expenses towards your "L" gear is this one. The fleeting expression could not have been captured with a digital or even an SLR, and the razor sharp detail from foreground to background and corner to corner, in addition to creamy smooth tonal transition requires a world class lens like the 'cron ASPH 35. The TXT gives the perfect canvas for this masterpiece. !Enhorabuena maestro! Link to comment
