ronnievalentine 0 Posted July 23, 2004 Paul, this is one of the most beautiful images you've done todate. This is wonderful. I can hardly take my eyes off it! Congrats, Ronnie Link to comment
oistein 0 Posted July 23, 2004 purely artistic work!!! just amazing... what more can I say?? think the way you've burned (or whatever you've done) has worked out pretty nice..maybe I shouldn't look at it too long in case I'd find those dark areas disturbing.. ;-) Great piece of work! hugh_hill 0 Posted July 27, 2004 Being raised in Scotland this image tugs heavily at the strings of my heart, I never forget those beautiful sights I recall from my childhood and I am constantly telling my eastern European friends about the sheer beauty to found in Scotland now you have made my job a lot easier - I can show them! hot74 0 Posted August 5, 2004 This is a superb image. The gap in the clouds and the brightish reflection of clouds in the water form a visual line that connects and seperates the middle portion of the photo at the same time. The stand alone middle portion is very graphic, stylish and strong. Furthermore, the movement in the water creates a story telling mood. Great work. And to echo my previous comment, my vote goes for this style as compared to the Wolf's Lair photo. Link to comment

kjartan haavik 0 Posted October 11, 2004 I think I'd like this picture even more with LESS effects. It looks too manipulated for me. I'm not in any way opposed to software manipulation, if you look at my portfolio, but in this shot Im just not convinced. Link to comment
jeff_walker2 0 Posted October 15, 2004 Hi Paul, I love the way you've created "depth" with the shading and saturation of color. Did you flip the image at the waterline or was it really that still and perfect. Great work. I also want to thank you and Sarah for showing Emily such a lovely time in Stroud. Good luck to you and your wonderful family. Jeff Walker Link to comment
