I'm a beginner uploading my first photo to photo.net. Please suggest ways to improve.

Please offer any suggestions for improving my technique. This was a

shot of a shy flower girl in my friend's wedding.

I would crop the top part off and the left side to the bench. I like your idea. Good color!

Excellent colors in this photo, the background, her little watering bucket (?), the dress and flowers all work together nicely. The flare is distracting though, and detract from what would otherwise be a nice peaceful shot.

I think there is hope for this photo. You just have to isolate the feeling, the emotion. I did two edits. Bothe are similar, take a look
