unless one's monitor is correctly calibrated this could seem dark..but that is not a fault with the image..very lovely..tt

Neal, I am sympathetic; I have those allergies too! That was very much a motivation for making this photograph. AhhChoo! I am changing the title in response to your visit.

 

Thank you Gaetan and Tina for the visit. I tend to agree with the observation about the importance of a calibrated monitor. At work this is indeed pretty dark, but I have a crummy uncalibrated monitor there. At home it is quite a different story. Regards.

This is really excellent. I love it in profile....the colors, clarity, black background, all add up to...Wow. Not just technically, but aesthetically.

this is a piece of excellent work, fine art indeed! Beautiful lighting makes the flower ver delicate. The black background ensures full attention on the main subject, great!
