This is another application of photography 101...in this situation

forget about your meter...you just apply the sunny 16 rule minus

half or a full stop to increase density in the sky...

It's been done many time before,so ya everything is real,no filter add, no computer manipulation...I'm laying on the ground with the sun straight throught the lense, harsh for your eye!!!

Salut Henry, pour repondre a ta question...The sunny 16 rule say ;in a clear sunny day everything that is lit by straight sunlight should be expose at f16 and 1/speed film...0f course from there you can adjust, let say f16 and 1/100 to f5.6 and 1/800...In my picture, since the meter reading is completely off because of the sun, i use the manual setting and adjust the camera at f16 & 1/50(velvia).Then i underexpose to get a darker sky...Work best when the light pass throught your subject(flowers &leafs) so it doesn't get backlit...i also left the aperture at F16(a small aperture) so the sun will be recorded as a star.Anyway i copy the all idea from another photographer who copy it from a another one and so on...J'espere que ces informations sauront t'aider...Jacques
