Pink FLoyd's guitar

This was taken at about 520am in Yellowstone last week, and I really

like the colors. The reflection of the gently sloping hill and meadow

reminded me of a guitar, hence the title.

 

Am a rank beginner, so any and all criticism is very welcome.

Too "50/50"; i'd be tempted to chop some of the lake off, especially as some of it is dark, and lacking detail. Awesome sky though..

Nice shot!! I never used a velvia 50, - now since this looks like to be dusk, can you tell me what exposure did you have to use owing to the low speed of the film ?

Hi Simanta, this was actually shot at dawn, and i had the camera on a tripod. aperture was set to either f/11 or f/16, and shutter speed was probably in the region of 1s.
