ritwik_bhattacharya 0 Posted July 19, 2004 This was taken at about 520am in Yellowstone last week, and I really like the colors. The reflection of the gently sloping hill and meadow reminded me of a guitar, hence the title. Am a rank beginner, so any and all criticism is very welcome. Thanks! Link to comment
michael bosanko 0 Posted July 19, 2004 Too "50/50"; i'd be tempted to chop some of the lake off, especially as some of it is dark, and lacking detail. Awesome sky though.. Link to comment
ritwik_bhattacharya 0 Posted July 20, 2004 Thanks for the comment! I tried that with another of the shots from that morning (included here). Link to comment
simanta 0 Posted August 12, 2004 Nice shot!! I never used a velvia 50, - now since this looks like to be dusk, can you tell me what exposure did you have to use owing to the low speed of the film ? Link to comment
ritwik_bhattacharya 0 Posted August 17, 2004 Hi Simanta, this was actually shot at dawn, and i had the camera on a tripod. aperture was set to either f/11 or f/16, and shutter speed was probably in the region of 1s. Link to comment
