tan 0 Posted July 19, 2004 Michele ... hey, no sweat, but a lot of people may take your comment very seriously, as some people are very passionate and even fanatical about their choices and loyalty, and we don't want to start a debate about which camera is better. Anyway the truth is they are both very good, and post-processing changes things. Link to comment
mjd 0 Posted July 19, 2004 Excellent shot! (And funny how similar in concept to this THIRD picture, also taken on a camping trip.) Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted July 20, 2004 Alec, I prefer your version a little better due to the fact that it better emphasizes the smoke/light, perhaps due mainly to the frame proportion. Nicely captured. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted July 20, 2004 Many thanks for everyone who responded in the comments here. Regarding your link, great shot Marcelo. You certainly nailed it there. If Bob and I had more time we would have definitely explored more opportunities at the Yosemite campsite. We had a great time even though we slept in the car just a few hours the night before to catch the morning light at Glacier Point. Perhaps we are city slickers - never tried another sleep outdoors for the rest of our trip. Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted July 23, 2004 Many thanks for all who just commented. Michael you're right, a flash will certainly brighten the girl's detail. I think I have some with flash. Link to comment

bradkim 8 Posted August 14, 2004 Exquisite light...!!! The position of the picnic table and the girl is perfect along with the tall tree. This pic makes me wonder when was the last time I had such a picnic.... Very beautiful and I love it!!! Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted June 19, 2007 Makes me want to go camping soooon :o). I think one of the best moments of camping is to wake up early in the morning so see "Dancing Light Rays" like these. The little girl makes the scenery of a "thoughtful quietness". Warm regards, Tanya. Link to comment
