Soldier praying at Western Wall, Jerusalem

This photo was taken the night after a terrorist bombing. Security

was extremely tight. The city was overflowing with soldiers and

police.

I noticed this soldier alone and away from his group, swaying and

praying at the Western Wall. This is the second in a series.

I am unsure about the slight motion blur of his head and shoulders. It isn't quite enough to indicate that he is swaying the way that you describe in the caption. Slower shutter might have been a little more communicative. Or maybe the understatement gives better emphasis. I guess I don't really know.

I definitely enjoy looking into this photograph. Excellent work.
