nicholasprice 0 Posted February 2, 2005 It was a long climb, but was it worth it? Any comments are welcome. Link to comment

rina 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Great shot and view over Paris. Wonderful subtle grey tones which I will never be able to achieve with my digital camera. Link to comment
lapsking 0 Posted February 21, 2005 If there was any camera in 13th century I wouldn't believe that it was taken in 21th century. What a great photo. Jealousy is coming again, though it's not for the first time. Link to comment
watermark_of_merni 14 Posted March 5, 2005 Yes it was worth the climb ! Have you recovered yet ? Link to comment
davegordon 0 Posted March 7, 2005 A wonderful photo and well worth the climb. Beautiful luminous tonality. I like the relationship between the gargoyle in the foreground and the slightly blurred background. It is the type of photo I would like to take myself. Well done! Dave Link to comment
rui_marques 0 Posted March 11, 2005 Not me, i really enjoy looking at your photos. But the gargoyle really seems to be bored. Maybe because looking after the city for too long. This could be a statement (That in Paris nothing is going on!!! Eh! Eh!). Leaves me wondering. Very Good! Link to comment
Doug Keller 0 Posted May 9, 2005 This one goes way beyond the cliched gargoyle-atop-building genre. At first glance, the composition seemed off, but after re-visiting the pic... it makes more sense to me now. The off-putting cramped feeling just adds to its quirkiness...to its soul. Great character, with tons of charm. Thanks for sharing it. Link to comment
jim.henderson 1 Posted May 21, 2005 Love your work, Nicholas. If I had to choose just one frame from your portfolio, this would be it. You have it spot on. Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted May 22, 2005 Thank you everyone for your kind, keen and observant comments about this photograph. It is a favorite of mine, and I am glad that so many other people enjoy it too. Here is another shot from the same role for comparrison. Kind regards, Nick. Link to comment
leepix 0 Posted October 10, 2005 I too love this spot and as you know have a few shots. but, wanted to mention that these are quite nice and have a timless olden days quality that I do not in mine. you did very well here creating something timeless. cheers, Lee Link to comment
hotwired_56chieftain 0 Posted February 15, 2006 I bet that was one heck of a climb...but yes, it WAS worth it. he looks like a wise old being sitting there, keeping watch and quite bored from seeing history repeat itself time and again... nice lines, nice composition Link to comment
