rajeevthomas 1 Posted July 9, 2004 A very different but very artistic picture!Light, tones, place are all going very well together in this picture to achieve a sense of mystery, darkness, and whole lot of other emotions! A masterpiece!! Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted July 9, 2004 Very nice use of a model in the landscape, Soft human juxtaposed against a sharp surrounding. Pnina Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted July 10, 2004 Guido, very nice idea and result. Good range of tone through out the image with great detail in the whites. BTW, I would also try a version with the left side cropped off a little. Congratulations! Link to comment
michaelseewald 237 Posted July 10, 2004 I am finished looking at the image in about 3 seconds. That means something is missing as my eye is not being guided by the compositon. 4/4. Blessings, MS Link to comment
raywei 0 Posted July 10, 2004 It's the tonal distribution that makes this photo, imho. If you try to add that when viewing the photo, you will find more merit of it. Check out the histogram of this photo and you will see what I mean. I did, and I found it similar to some taken by Ansel Adams. Structural layout isn't the only element in a good composition, although it's very important. Vic, Jay and Wilson have already talked about it in a constructive manner. Just thought it is fun to join the discussion. Cheers. Link to comment
