bruce g. collier 0 Posted July 17, 2004 Saw this small family chapel while cruising by on a scooter. Feed back greatly appreciated! Link to comment
mspanakis 0 Posted July 17, 2004 Bruce, I know this light and this is a geat instance. You've got it under perfect contol. The composition is excellent; but what I like most is this reflection of red on the foreground wall (that we don't see) and then back on the church wall (that we see). When you have images like this, do you need anything else? I don't. Oh, yes! perhaps a glass of water. And an olive. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted August 10, 2004 Bruce, I agree, an excellent result for your efforts. On a scooter you say? With an RZ 67? That must have cut into your gas mileage! :) I can also see many small details that could have been shot with a tele zoom (ie: the bell, the cross, & the door area). This place must have been a photo feast for you. A tad lower camera position & the top of the building on the rock fence line would have been eliminated at the time or even now with PS. A keeper I would have displayed on my wall were it mine. Best, LM. Link to comment
bruce g. collier 0 Posted August 11, 2004 Thanks Len,I don't travel much anymore with the RZ, but at the time, I carried it in a camera case that I outfitted with over-the-shoulder cross straps. Worked good, but yes, quite a load.Yes, there are a number of close-up shots that I should have taken, but didn't for whatever reason. At the time, I wasn't doing much in the way of architectural detail, so it probably didn't dawn on me. But, I see what you're saying. Thanks for taking the time to add your thoughts, I appreciate the feedback.Regards, Bruce www.brucegcollier.com Link to comment
