the grey house 0 Posted July 5, 2004 Your comments on this image are very much appreciated. Regards Paul Athey - The Grey House Photography BackgroundI found this old woodworking shop while visiting Newtonmoor in the Highlands of Scotland last month. I have tried to reflect how I saw the image and how I felt. For me it brought memories of my grandfathers wood shop flooding back. Hence the dreamlike / slightly ethereal effect. This is how I saw the shop in my minds eye. Link to comment
davidweaverphoto 3 Posted July 5, 2004 Good shot and a great backdrop for an environmental portrait. The bright white item at the lower first-third is a distraction. Great detail in the shadows. Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted July 5, 2004 I love the light in the back! Nice photo...I too find the white objects in front distracting. Link to comment

sarahunderhill 1 Posted July 6, 2004 It does look better with out the white in front! Some times we all need a few more sets of eyes....what did we ever do before the internet or PN??? Link to comment

macgregor_anderson 0 Posted July 7, 2004 Paul, that's really well done! This is different from much of your work, but I'd like to think I could have named the photographer without knowing. I know that's not a critique per se, but I don't have anything to add or subtract. Carry on please... Link to comment
