Looking at the highlights in the eyes it looks like the focus might be a little soft. A great job of capturing the moment and a very emotional photograph. One can not help but wonder the story behind the photo.....

My daughter's living room walls and ceiling are vivid lime green. This makes reflected tones a problem.I adjusted the right side hue to correct it,but evidently not enough. Thanks for your interest. J.King

One of those rare shots that I don't care about it's technical flaws like softness, it's full of emotion and strikes the viewer immediately, thanks for sharing Jerry! by the way, I think the green cast is not a flaw, it works in conjunction with the green wall behind.

of course she is a drama queen and I have the right to say it cos I am a female!!! You blokes would be roasted if you made my comment. This is beautiful and it does look a little soft and a little off colourwise but the content is so darn good that it can get away with it. I love that solitary tear - as a Mum I just want to kiss it away for her!!

Such a beautiful capture; I don't understand how anyone could find fault with this photo...would you just look at that face and those eyes? It speaks for itself! This photo reminds me of a time when I was probably this age and my Mom and sibs went to visit Grandma without my Dad. I was brave on the flight and the whole day until I heard my Dad's voice that evening on the other end of the phone; my reaction was just like that of this beautiful little girl and I couldn't even stop crying to muster up any words. This photo brings back that same feeling now and those tears to my eye as well. Thank you for sharing such a tender and superbly done photo! :)
