henrimanguy 0 Posted July 2, 2004 Some minutes later, having finished with my large views on the misty plain (see previous photos "mist on the plain" and "mist on the plain 2"), I entered on a path between two hedges making a tunnel of greenery. The sun attempted to filter between the foliage, outlining the vault of the tunnel. What do you think of this one ? Link to comment
raywei 0 Posted July 2, 2004 I have a similar shot, but yours is way way better -- clean, good composition. Link to comment
paulo_machado2 0 Posted July 2, 2004 Wonderful light, excelent compositon, I light the triangle formed by the trees making a path of light. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted July 3, 2004 I love the depth and the peaceful atmosphere. Perhaps crop off a little of the top and make it a bit more dramatic? Hope you don't mind this posting.... Link to comment
doug_de_la_torre 0 Posted July 3, 2004 Superb lighting. I'm amazed at how well you were able to keep the highlights and the shadows, especially without blowing out the exposure with the rays of light at the top. This photo feels alive. Link to comment
timnichols 0 Posted July 4, 2004 Maybe the bright lights at the top could be removed, cropped out, or altered? But I love the photo and the composition otherwise! Link to comment
raywei 0 Posted July 4, 2004 Before crop the top, you may want to burn it first and save as much as you can. Then crop the part you can't burn. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted July 8, 2004 Thank you all for your ratings and comments. Wilson, I like your croping, but I find your colours very warm for a morning. Doug, there were no real problem of exposure because the trees were sufficiently lighted up by the sun rays. About the bright light on the top, I know this is not very appreciated by the photographers, but personnaly I love to have the sun in the field when I can. Link to comment
rulon 0 Posted September 3, 2004 Solid. A little dark at right but great capture. 6/6 Link to comment
dennismk 0 Posted October 9, 2004 I have enjoyed looking through your work here on PN. You have a very good portfilo. It is great to find someone else's work I like very much. On this shot I think I would crop the sun's flare but each to his own, its still a great shot. Thanks for posting your work Link to comment
