Weeping Plum

My sister called on May 1st saying my mother had just had a stroke. The day was rainy lightly and somewhat breezy. My neighbors flowering plum was in full bloom. I went out and shot a roll so I could feel a bit normal.

Perhaps a little more DOF. I'm more interested in the water drops and the background than the flower. Excellent colors.

There were a few other compositions I tried which emphasized the droplets. While I liked those compositions better, unfortunately due to the wind, none of them were sharp enough for my taste. Thanks for your comments.
