You perfectly reach this aim. I like the leaf shadows on the body & the other light effects. Fantastic pic.

Agree with Sally, it does look like a scene-of-crime picture. The pattern on the skin adds to that.

Pretty much have to agree with the others. Looks more like a crime sceene photo than "part of the forest." However, I really like the way the shadows dance accross her back and legs. That makes it wllok very warm.

It never occured to me that this might look like a crime scene til I read that in the comments. I find it more dream-like, surreal...

Sorry it does look like a scene-of-crime picture but maybe I've seen too many real ones. Good starting point to develop into less soc looking experiments though.

Maybe we think about acrime scene because one reads that you took this pic in Grasse (The perfume...;-), maybe because it doesn't look perfectly comfortable for the lady. Did she chose the position or you, would be interesting to know. BUT - these leaf-shadows on her body are absolutely beautiful!

you know the book of Patrick S�skind ! :-) In fact, as usual, I choosed the postion. The left part of body follows the tree roots. And it was very uncomfortable because it took a longtime before the wind blows exactly as I wanted for the leaves shadows be on her body like this.

When I looked at this photo, I definitely thought crime-scene, but that is not necessarily a bad thing (although it wasn't your aim). It is still a beautiful photo, crime-scene or not. Sally Mann has a book out called "What Remains" that features photos of crime scenes, and death and decay, and although are quite unsettling, are beautiful as well.

All she needs is her hands and feet bound and her underwear laying by her side and you have a perfect crime scene photo. The "leaves" looks more like post mortem "marbling"

Like some of the other critics, I find this image very disturbing....I am sorry..

 

It looks TOO MUCH as if she has been raped and murdered....Her legs are in a very unnatural position. I cannot possibly give this a rating.

I think you have a good idea but kind of missed the mark. Maybe a different pose or forest area would suggest more life. If you want more life. Keep working, the leaf shadows are a good idea.

Some of the remarks above are truly surrealistic! This is very original and an attractive nude study Thierry. Don't be discouraged!

Very interesting idea.

I would try to do the same on overcast weather.
