salvatore.mele 1 Posted June 30, 2004 It is an interesting subjects and you had lots of good elements such as the trio of blue-panel/trekker/cairn and the patch of light on the glacier with dark sky and rocks below. My problem with the image, is that it looks a bit crowded by all these elements, without any getting a real dominance. It might be a matter of composition... a slightly different angle which would have gotten the blue panel in might have helped. It might also have helped to get the trekker looking toward the glacier rather than at you. Finally, offsetting the trekker out of dead-centre might also have worked... Still, I admire you for having gotten the camera out with that storm brewing! Cheers, Link to comment

Nice shoot. I agree with Salvatore M. that it would be better if the person would have look to the glacer and if you shifted the camera to fill with dark only the right part of the scene. Is this the Grossglockner? Link to comment
treeffe 0 Posted January 26, 2005 Thank you Mauro for your comment on this and others photo. This has been my very first posting here on photonet and I'm glad is still interesting people. Yes it is the Grossclockner, and drops like eggs where beginning to fall, so composition was last of my toughts, I'm convinced that moving the camera to the right toward the crane offsetting the two trekkers (yes what seems a backpack is my youngest son!) should improve the picture without no doubt. Thank again Fabio Link to comment
