I'm back again due to your POW and as soon as I saw your portfolio, I remembered I'd been here before and that this was my favorite! I had rated it 9/9. Very impressed with the color and the reflection in the water.. Wish this one had made POW... It is so vibrant and well composed... Link to comment

chris_venhaus 51 Posted September 11, 2001 Actually it was my scanner that abused the slide (Minolta Scan Speed). Is the shot exactly the color of the slide? No. The slide is better. The only manipulation done in PS was levels adjustment, dust touch-up, and dodging/burning. Link to comment

I was just thinking: if the dark cloud on the left side wouldn't be there, this picture would be far less interesting - surprisingly... It balances the image, adds to the dept, and makes the great colors elsewhere stand out much more... Great shot ! Link to comment

stik 0 Posted August 24, 2002 I love the blue and the yellow in this photo (and I've throughly enjoyed your other shots -- great work). I think the lower dark cloud in front of the blue sky gives it more a three dimentional look. Link to comment
