Shaggy honey fungi

ian cameron

I found this cluster of honey fungus growing at the base of an old beech tree. The fungi were immaculate and combined very well with the thick green moss and bright green wood sorrel. I bounced light in with reflectors to get detail in the stalks and shadows and used a poariser to remove some of the reflective shine.

These look great, what you've done to move the reflection has certainly payed off. Scotland seems to the ultimate place for finding fungi/mushrooms. Well done!
