A half dressed woman in bright pants and a very unnatural pose. Her right elbow is too close to the side and her feet are cut off. The lighting is not great either. Yet people continue to rate these types of shot highly. Put a t-shirt on her and you have a very ordinary photo that would make it to the trash can before even being posted here. Can someone please explain to me what is so great about this photo?

Stuart, what exactly is "natural" about any "pose?" The vibrant colors in the pants contrasting with the dark greens is one thing. The lines and shadows of the nude is another. What I really liked was the color and the initial impact (I'm not very good at analyzing WHAT or WHY I like many shots, I just *do*, simple as that).
