Great Egret

This tall, stately bird was posing quite nicely as he enjoyed a

great spring afternoon at QNWR in central KS, USA. A fabulous

birding spot, by the way.

The only problem I have with this image is that the bird is static. I like to see motion, especially with birds. Other than that: The bird is well exposed, and the background gives good contrast.
