This photo was taken in a place called "The Curragh" County Kildare,

Ireland. I used Photoshop to remove most of the flare which was a

result of shooting directly into the sun.

This one really grabs me! You haven't given aperture / shutter speeds, but it might be possible to stop down a bit more to reduce the burnt out halo around the sun. One nit-pick - the black border doesn't seem to go right round the picture, giving a distracting unfinished look.

This is a very striking image, overall I think your portfolio/folder is one of the best I have seen on photonet.
