I was on Jacques-Cartier bridge taking shots of a cyclist event in

Montr顬 when I decided to experiment with depth of field. Is this

just a silly picture?

In my opinion, it's not a silly picture !

Love this one. I had some time to figure out if this was a statue, a photo montage or real. Great idea and execution.

This looks quite funny and the use of perspective and DOF is succesful for the theme. A 7 for originality, aesthetically it is average.

Is it manipulated?

Mondiabi; this image is not manipulated. I was located on the bridge about 400 feet over sainte-catherine street and I stuck my foot through the railing. I'm using a 80mm lens. It was a very sunny day so I used a rather fast speed and a small aperture to preserve the depth of field.

One small incident occured while I was taking this shot: my big berkinstock sandal fell on the ground below...

In my inexperience, I would have added the foot in P.S. Bravo for the funny and clever shot.
