kslonaker 0 Posted June 20, 2004 I have had FIVE days without Internet access at home! Finally got it up about an hour ago (typing this at almost midnight Saturday), thanks to two guys and their hammer, cable equipment, but no eggs. Sorry I missed all the excitement on this posting. Link to comment

_dith_b. 0 Posted June 21, 2004 Typically, the work of someone trying hard to be different. Perhaps too hard?? It's not a bad photo, but the idea does not move me or give me anything to think about, so what's the point? The egg should also be a bit farther from the hammer. Egg shell too bright also. abintraphoto 0 Posted June 21, 2004 ' Some men see things as they are and say why ? ...... I see things that never were and say why not ? ' ... Always liked that quote - Too bad the notion died on the floor of the L A Convention Center in 1968 ..... And no one picked up the ball and ran with it. I'm trying to imagine what the world would be like if someone had not tried too hard - or at least very hard ....... Medicine, Flight, the outcome of WW II - a few things that come to mind - probably thousands more. I hope I never stop trying too hard - to push the envelope. Sometimes you win - sometimes you lose .... but if you don't push - you don't succeed. The idea behind most - but not all - of my Eggg shots is to put them in a circumstance you have never seen ..... to raise an eyebrow ..... and to prompt a smile - nothing more. And perhaps others will be inspired to pick up a ball and run with it - in their own way. Thank you for prompting me to ponder this notion - and others too perhaps - good job. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 21, 2004 let's edit Edith....Typically, the work of someone trying hard to be different. Perhaps too hard?? True...probably... so what?!It's not a bad photo, but the idea does not move me or give me anything to think about, so what's the point? so why comin' in commenting?... I usually comment what moves me... and Ken knows it well... and we aren't friend (are... oui?!)The egg should also be a bit farther from the hammer. Egg shell too bright also. ... so... finally it moves you... or at least you want to move the hammer ... or the egg ... or the hammer... which one to start with...?! that's a F#^*&$ good question ... since Shakespeare, we are all awaiting for The answer... the hammer or the egg...; at least who nailed it... we know. the hammer is brighter than the egg... he's a w(h)i(n)ner.Sorry Ken to pollute your page... but I feel in the mood! And ... by-ze-way Edith... I like your style of postin'... moving too! Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted June 21, 2004 Another thought provoking comment - very welcome - especially from you Jacques. Jacques and I have a unique relationship I think - we neither kiss each others *** nor stomp each others toes ..... and we have much in common - an appreciation for vintage vomen, the importance of humor and consideration of the feelings of others - to name a few .... Guest Guest Posted June 21, 2004 I'm going to disagree on the trying to hard thing. I already mentioned the shell earlier (if you used free range or easter eggs this wouldnt have happened-you know that and accepted your punishment so 'nuff said on that issue). sometimes the most meaningless acts or things have deeper meanings than those which we assume are chalk full of meanings. Jacque, when youre in a better mood we could discuss lakes and their depths. Knicki a little post script. while I do not agree with Edith I have to comment that at least she left a comment while other non posters drop 2/3 and leave. She left a decent rate (meaning not less than 4) and a comment. Now perhaps we can all get together and have some pizza and beer and become friends. no Jacque that isnt my hand on your leg under the table...its Ken's ;) Link to comment
