paris Fishing boat on the Seine

Unusual boat in the heart of Paris...

at first when i saw this image, i felt that the boat took away from the majesty of the top 2/3s of the picture. however, the more i look at it, the more i like the juxtaposition b/w the reverent sky/church (i assume that is Notre dame) and the "plain" boat. i think the clouds here definitely add to the pic versus a clear sky.

too bad about the boat :-(

The boat gives scale to the cathedral and the river wall. The sunglow on Notre Dame makes me want to zoom in on the background.
