I'm from Texas... it's a small world ;) ~ I love this picture. Been in a few of these myself would not know if I could hold a camera in this situation. This is one great shot!! Lived in San Angelo during one great ride and Omaha during another. Mom drove through the Jarrel storm while my husband flew in on an flight. I imagine you have your hands full during the "storm" season. Now that we live back in the US (lived in Japan for a while ~ Hubby is Navy) I am so excited to hear THUNDER again so maybe I can catch a few storms! :) We do love to take our sunset pics!! I look forward to seeing YOUR pics! ~ micki

This image would be less frighenting if my home area area(The Villages, FL) had not just suffered devastation. With all due respect, hell hath no fury like a tornado scorned. You are beyond a brave man.

Margaret first let me say how sorry I am that you have suffered at the hand of these tornados that moved into Florida Friday and I hope that you have not suffered the loss of a loved one. Florida has been hit hard over the last few years with storms and when tornados hit in the late night hours, people need to have a weather radio to wake them so they can take cover from these storms. With hurricane we can see them coming days out but with tornados we can only see that in say 12 hours we may get storms that may be tornadic storms. All my thoughts are with you and all the residence of Florida that have suffered loss from these storms.

You are lucky to be in a position to see nature when it is really posing and to have the talent to capture it so dramatically. By the way, thank you for the work you've done for the Red Cross. It is an organization we all need to support.

Awesome. I remember when you couldn't even find a photo of a tornado. I heard one go right over my house and it popped my ears, but I didn't see it.
