Guest Guest Posted March 1, 2006 Outstanding weather photo , no need for further explanations. I like the tree as a point of interest eary colours and may I say a very brave photographer especially with a wide lens like the one you used. We have storms and cylones here too but none as frightening as these. Link to comment
bukovsky 0 Posted March 12, 2006 Hey Ken, I hope you a driving a 911, or at least a Corvette. One of these times you will be too close and once the twister is gona be done with you, you will probably be far away from the point you tried to take that picture at :) Seriously now, as usual-very rare shots you are taking and it is always interesting to have a look at these. I wish I was there too-eeeeee, on the second thought-I don't. I am a chicken lol. Nice work, congrats. Link to comment
mike werkhoven 0 Posted March 19, 2006 Amazing contrast between the silent tree and roaring tube. A bit romantic, making human very small, as like in many of your pictures Link to comment
scott_clarke 0 Posted March 22, 2006 I got to tell you, what you do is crazy. Most people run away, you run to it. And out of that comes beautiful images for us all to see. Stuff most will never see with their own eyes. Well done, stay safe. Regards Kenneth. Link to comment
dragonfly606 0 Posted March 23, 2006 On a recent trip to Yosemite, hearing the news of all the tornado 'action' in the midwest. I thought of you and your portfolio. I am assuming you are off and running, so to say, because THIS is your 'busy season'. Looking forward to see what this season has brought you in photography. And also hoping you are 'safe'. federomero 0 Posted March 26, 2006 I admir the Storm Hunters. I see a lot documental films in N.G. & Discovery channels about U.S.tornados and value the courage going closer the heart storm, when the normal is running in the oppos direction. Link to comment

bogdan_dumitru 0 Posted April 19, 2006 7/7 and nothing less, I give 7/7's very hard but this is just stunning. I can't even comment on it. Instead of running away, you caught this amazing photo AND thought well about it, as to get that tree in the lower left which is priceless for me, it balances the composition so well. Just beautiful. Shall you have a second, would you look at my last submission, rate and maybe leave a critique if time permits? I got this flower alone in the dark and these drops of light. Let me know if you like them by rating them and maybe critiqueing them, if time permits. See you on PN and congrats for the capture, --Bogdan Link to comment
buns 0 Posted April 21, 2006 I would love to chase, but you guys are just nuts! lol.. my husband and I were going to go out with a friend of ours a long time ago, but he ended up taking off to fast.. which was fine. My husband and I came pretty close to a tornado in Little Rock, AR in 2001, luckly we got to our base fast enough and the thing jumped over it. We still had to sit outside and watch all the trash cans flying down the street. I would love to get a photo like this, but.. well that's just it.. but. I'll leave it up to the real chasers haha. Great photo! Link to comment
keith foster 0 Posted April 22, 2006 This would look great too in sepia, great work Ken, I wish I was there with you. Some of your shots are spectacular and your RV is not bad either. Keith Link to comment
